Desk Slack Privacy Note
This note explains how Youanai Desk uses Slack data for the Slack escalation integration. Youanai Desk uses Slack only to send support escalation alerts to the channel selected during installation.
Slack data we store
Slack OAuth data is scoped to the Desk workspace where an owner or admin installed the integration.
- Slack workspace ID and name
- selected Slack channel ID and label
- incoming webhook URL and Slack OAuth access token, stored encrypted
- webhook configuration URL returned by Slack
- Slack escalation delivery audit events
Alert content sent to Slack
Alert content is sent to the Slack channel selected during OAuth so teammates can triage the support escalation.
- support conversation subject
- priority and escalation reason
- customer label and customer email when available
- intent and latest message snippet when available
- a link back to the conversation in Youanai Desk
Controls and retention
Disconnecting Slack stops new escalation alerts. Existing Slack messages remain in Slack according to your workspace retention settings.
- disconnect Slack from Desk settings
- remove the Youanai Desk app from your Slack workspace
- contact [email protected] for support, export, or deletion requests
